My sweet girl is so disappointed. First of all we bought this because her father and I are going through a divorce and we thought it could travel from house to house and the absent parent would be able to send messages while the child was at the other parents home. This toy requires you to be within 30 feet of it for it to receive a message. It does not connect to wifi it connects to your actual device that the app is downloaded to. I did have problems with the app downloading and finally deleted it and started over and it finally downloaded. Then during set up my daughter fell asleep before we named her pet. When I tried to log back in later it said my user name was invalid and did not exist. I went back to my confirmation email and clicked on the link again and then was able to log in. I had problems with the toy connecting then when it said it was connected the heart wasnt flashing like it should so I turned it off then back on. I finally got it properly connected and Finished set up. I have since sent it four messages and not a single one has been received.

This is a waste of time, as the app wont even get past the title screen.

Id write a lengthy review about this but enough before me have already done so. If you have purchased this, return it. One of the most frustrating childrens toys I have ever had the displeasure of trying to set up and have them play with. Truly awful.

After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised that the bear I got works wonderfully. However they need better instructions on how everything works, it took a while for me to figure it out and the website was not helpful.

Update keeps showing up on my phone but every time I try to update it kicks out. Has been happening for over a week like this.

Never works, just use the pet by itself.

I havent been able to connect with the cloud pet since this last update. So disappointed. Please fix.

The app and bear do not work together. I have had problems since I bought it, which was in November.

We are unable to send messages to the toy since there latest update only from the toy to the app. When will this be fixed?

Every 20-30 seconds it sends a "basket ball buzzer" sound through with the song. Super relaxing.... Garbage.

User experience is confusing and not intuitive. App size is huge - taking up 1/4 Gig. Too big!-

Cloud pets app set up is more detailed than mentioned in set up also it just does not work. Dont buy junk

Possibly the most worthless thing on the entire internet.

Do not buy a Cloud Pet. My daughter asked for one for Christmas and got it. It still does not work properly with the app. It is an over priced stuffed animal that needs batteries. The app is horrible, even with the newest updates. Good idea, pitiful execution because it DOES NOT WORK.

For as much as these cloud pets cost, you would think they would actually take the time to develop the app properly. The app crashed and it wont even let me connect my childs pet. Furthermore, It keeps sending an error message. Dont waste your money on one of these, for youll be disappointed if you do so.

With the latest update (that was supposed to fix bugs!), now we cant send messages to the pet. It gives an error message that the pet isnt connected, yet the pet is on and still able to record messages and send them to the app. Disappointed that the pet isnt working anymore. I hope there will be another update to fix these new bugs without causing new problems. I hope this isnt the ending out cloud pet. It was such a good idea, its a shame it doesnt work.

I am glad I spent the money on this toy, only to realize it does not ever connect!!!! How annoying!!!

No wonder this was clearanced! What waste of money. It said it "connected" does all the blinking it should, but no magic. What a crap toy! Wish I would have bought a regular bear.

After 4 months, I have given our cloud pet MANY opportunities to improve but quite frankly Im tired of this. With our first pet we got, it was easy to set up and use and worked fine until a month later. It started making that horrible buzzing sound & sometimes a jumbled up word sound some and then started doing it more frequently(mostly during the lullaby at night). My other child, who is 3, got one and it instantly started making those sounds, which really scared her. Also, her lullaby played on low is significantly louder than the other pets and sometimes we have to put it across her room and cover it to muffle how loud it is. A lullaby on low volume should be quiet and relaxing, not so loud that I can hear it through her shut door and mine. I wrote in to the app support and never got a response but then not long after is when the update came out. The first night, I couldnt connect to the pets to start their lullaby but the next day and for a while after that, I could. The other thing Ive noticed since the update is the whole time the pet is turned on, the red light is flashing, which is less than ideal since theyre sleeping next to them at night. Then yesterday the noises started back and now today I cant connect to it after multiple attempts and switching it on/off a lot. Its pretty ridiculous at this point to have this many issues on a kids toy. Ive given it the benefit of the doubt for a while but Im truly over it. And for a toy thats so inconsistent, its kind of tacky to charge for the newly added lullabies and stories!

My daughter received a pet for her birthday. She was more excited about this than any other gift. As I was getting the app I read the terrible reviews & told her there was a good chance it wouldnt work. Low & behold the app doesnt connect to the toy. A piece of garbage toy that does nothing but frustrate the parent & upset the child who was given it. Maybe it will be fixed in the future but as far as Im concerned the pet can go in the garbage. Not worth the time or aggravation!
